ROTARY INTERNATIONAL ZONE 22 DONATES $10,000 TO BOYS’ BRIGADE OF ZAMBIA

Rotarians led by Rotary International Director Patrick Chisanga and Zone 22 Hosting Chair PDG William Niyrenda SC donated $10,000 and 10 flag sticks to Boys’ Brigade of Zambia. The donation which is meant for purchasing of Brass Band Instruments was made at Southern Sun Hotel in the City of Lusaka on Friday 19th April, 2024. Speaking when he made the donation on behalf of Rotary International, Director Patrick Chisanga pledged Rotary International's commitment to continue supporting Governments and strategic groups across Africa. In receiving the donation, Boys’ Brigade of Zambia President Mr Maxwell Sichula Lt thanked Rotary International for the works it does in uplifting the lives of the communities in our society. He highlighted the need to instill discipline and sense of responsibility in Boys through the Brigade and using different means including Brass Bands. The donated funds will go towards the purchase of Brass Band Instruments which will be housed at Training Centres of the Brigade and used for training of Boys.
